BMW E39 M5 - twin supercharged
Discussion
I´m in the process of restoring/refreshing my E39 M5.
Has been my daily driver since I bought it in 2005.
From now on it will just be a summer / good weather car
Took it to the paintshop in December:
List of to do´s:
Complete respray
Replace both front doors (rust)
Replace boot (rust)
Fix various rust spots
Fix various door dings
Replace badges
Replace kidneys
Replace front "Hamann" "CF" lip
Replace boot lip spoiler CF
Replace roof spoiler CF
Polish front lights
New rear lights
New Fog lights + covers
New air filters
Brembo calipers will get repainted
Hamann wheels will get a refresh
Leather will get a refresh (small tear & wear)
The plan is to get it back into it´s 2007 shape:

Here are a couple of pics of the setup:
It´s not from Hamann. It was sold and installed by a company in Sweden in 2006.
They are not in business any more.
The reason for 2 superchargers is that at the time they didn´t have big enough Rotrex´s for a single setup.
Specs / info:
Twin Rotrex C30-74 superchargers
Front mount intercooler
Steel sleeved block
Forged CP pistons
10.5:1 compression
SS Headers
SS race cats
TUBI Rumore
UUC 11" V12 cerametallic clutch + flywheel
UUC EVO3 SSK w/DSSR
Brembo GT4 brakes front/back
KWv3's
Angel Eyes + Angelibrights
Celis
19" Hamann PG2´s
Strongstrut front Strut Brace
Dynawin headunit
CF interior trim

Well his is awesome
Slightly o/t question- the pipe that goes over the right hand wheel arch that can be seen in the pics with the wing removed- is that an overflow for the screenwash? May explain why I got a wet foot the other day when I topped my screenwash up but all the washers appeared to still work!
Yes something to do with the screenwash.Slightly o/t question- the pipe that goes over the right hand wheel arch that can be seen in the pics with the wing removed- is that an overflow for the screenwash?
