Hi all im new on the forums
Thought id see what sort of reception my rare little beast will get on Piston heads shes a rather rare 1 of 50 Jetta GT customised for VW by a company back in the day from silverstone called GTi engineering. All the special eddition items on the car are as they were from VW however anything standard to a Mk2 GT has changed a little. Spec as follows

86 Jetta GT (originally 1.8 Injected engine)with a 2.8 VR6 mk3 golf engine swap through a Jetta GTi 16v exhaust the swap includes all subframes power steering, etc. I have also carried out a full Seat Toledo dash conversion and it looks supprisingly at home.

Well take a look and let me know what you think smile

Thanks for the kind words people but dont panic the conversion didnt change anythin that GTi Engineering did. When the cars were made for VW GTi Engineering only did body modifications and suspension changes none of the 50 had engine mods carried out hence i say everything special about the car has been left original. I did the engine swap because the original untuned GTi 8v enginge blew up and i felt i wanted to bring the GT up to date a bit heres the original sales info
