ok here we go!!!

well after alot of pain the car is finally back here with me fully done and wow. The car drives just like stock, but my god full revs are eye opening, the way back i encountered a stock e92 m3 and left it standing, you can imagine the grin on my face, my mpg is exactly the same as before, oil temps are exactly the same as before as the charger has its own oil supply so it not heating up the engine oil. Under the hood looks awesome, so neat, pure pornography, in the wet the car was breaking traction very easily, infact it was scary, in traffic conditions the car behaves perfectly. Their is little to no noise from the charger at low revs i can hear a slight whistle, at high revs all i can hear is huge induction raw sucking, it sounds freaking awesome, i can also hear the blow off valve with a gentle whhhhhooooooossshhhh!! 5th and 6th gear are much improved now, with a real hard pull. i cant give to much of a review as ive only done 100 miles, but let me tell you, the car now in a different league in terms of performance, only 1 big problem, the brakes will definatly need uprating, the ease in which the car now gets in 3 figures is stupid and the brakes just wont sustain this new performance, the car dyno'd at 455bhp!!!!!!!! ha ha ha ha lol!! :fuelfire: :fuelfire: :fuelfire:

its a fabulous car, and massively modded with complete coilovers, camber plates, the whole works, it even has custom s54 3.2 throttle bodies, very very cool.

Otherwise, good work smile
you dont know your chargers, its not a rotrex, its a vortech v3si rated upto 775bhp. This charger has its own oil circuit, so it doesnt heat up the engine oil, it even has its own dipstick, lol.

Really interested in hearing how the OP finds this conversion in the long term. It's something that I'd really like to do to my M3 once I've sorted the suspension.

I've started with the brakes on my car, and gone with the AP setup. I can't recommend these enough for your Z4 .... They are awesome compared to the stock tat that BMW fit.
the next mod will be AP/stoptech brakes and Ground control coilovers, ill keep you posted on how the car performs, but i can tell you, on the road its a weapon, i cant wait to take it on track.

i thought id bring this thread back after having this kit for a good 6 months now....

so firstly heres a vid of me on track, notice im slightly struggling to keep it on the track..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lwi2YzM6EpM

secondly.. alittle review, the car with the new alpha N management is just perfect, idle is BETTER than stock, absolutly digially smooth, low speed drivability is just fabulous, the car pulls from very low and i just an actual joy to drive slowly as well as at speed, its really nice to have done a mod thats added to the all round appeal of the car.

once upto speed the car is a hammer, pulling cleanly to 7900 where my 5.5psi is made, proper calculations show im hitting 21mpg when not pushed (actual empty to full calculations), the traction control flashes till the mid range of 3rd gear, Vortech v3si is a self lubricated s/c unit so doesnt share my engine oil, it has its own oil reseviour, the cars oil and water temps are kept completly as they were before i F/I'd the car.

Ess's support has been amazing, any glitch and these guys are here for me, overall im very happy, the kit is oem quality, looks amazing and its a ball to drive, so far ive done about 3 trackdays with another this saturday..... anyone with the s54 motor, this is the way for more power.......

cheers for reading guys

Amazing car you've built there mate! Sounds proper nuts.

Is that not the smallest track in the world though? lol
cheers matey really chuffed with it.......... the track is actually curborough sprint course, its not where near as easy as it looks to navigate round quickly, off camber corners, low friction surface patches and NO runoff, the mole hill can give a grown man nightmares, very techical, more importantly its local and im a scc member so sprint here reguarly, its nice to give the car a challenge and this is the place, difficult to build boost, punishing on tyres and brakes ;-)

is it realy that loud/annoying on the motorway ???
its really that loud...... the drone at motorspeeds is the type of drone that rattles your bones, the sonic waves that emit from those pipes makes my eye lashes vibrate, great 90% of the time, horrific in the wrong instance, luckily i only drive it on the weekends! lol
