Anyone fancy a meet soon so we can exercise our cars in the near future!!? I'm in West Surrey so somewhere in Surrey, West Hampshire or South Berks. would be good.

Yes, pdavison all would be welcom.Mid June-on would be fine with me. I'll try and think of a suitable pub with some good roads nearby in Surrey area.Anyone any ideas ?

There's a pub at Forest Green South of Dorking was used recently by Porsche Club G.B. It is surposed to be very easy to find and there are some good roads round there--think its called The Parrot.Will find out more and keep you posted guys.

Thats a very good idea U/V--Thats what P.C.G.B. London region did back in April from the pub at Forest Green that was in my previous entry.

Yes can confirm its called The Parrot Inn.

Don't think the roads in that area would suit a race--
putting my sensible hat on?! I had in mind a nice scenic drive!!don't think we want any pile ups or speeding tickets.

I should be o.k.for Sun.23/06 .Will update you later chaps.
I have e.mailed the Parrot to see if we need to book.If so will need a rough idea of the numbers,if we do.I will update you when I have any more info.

So what time do you all want to meet chaps.?Do you want to meet in the morning have a drive,then back to the pub for lunch?Or do you want to make it in the afternoon about 3pm so that we avoid the lunchtime crowds,have a drive and then back for a drink and chat?

Have spoken to the pub and if we require lunch will have to book, so will need numbers please if you want to do this.Otherwise we could meet at 3.00pm after the lunchtime rush.What do you think chaps?

Have mapped out a route for our 'Sunday Drive'! which is as followes:-
From Parrot Inn head west on B2127 to Cranleigh via Ewhurst.

TL B2128 via Ellens Green,Cox Green to Rudgewick

TL A281 (towards Horsham)
Becomes A29

TL A29 to Ockley

TL B2126 back to Parrot.
Will have to drive route for speed cameras/pot holes etc.and let you know the result.

If I book a table/tables for 1.30pm is that ok with everyone? If I make it for about 12 persons at this time can allways revise nos later.
