GT3 Gen2 or GT3 RS Gen1?

Noticed that prices of 997 Gen 2 GT3s and 997 Gen 1 GT3 RS are now about the same - mid seventies, this begs the question - if you had 75k which would you chose?

Gen1 GT3 RS look more hardcore but virtually the same as the Gen 1 GT3 under the skin
Gen2 has the 3.8 motor which is supposed to be better than the 3.6
Gen 1 GT3 RS values seem to be holding up better.

well I like that Gen 1 GT3 RS and I like the Gen 2 GT3, but which is best?

Responses so far seem to show fairly equal support - perhaps that's why they appear (in the pistonheads classifieds) to be similar money. It seems to be either the looks of the Gen 1 RS or the engine and dynamics of the Gen 2 GT3.

I started this thread back in 2012, noting that Gen 1 RS and Gen 2 GT3 were both around 75K. Interesting to see where values have gone since then, particularly the Gen 1 GT3 RS! I was close to moving from my Gen 1 GT3 to a Gen2 RS when they were just over 100K, however, they are now way too much for me.
