First set of testing was done with our new 9E20 package at Brunters yesterday. No run off area so couldn't push much more, but she will be quicker. 225mph dash, 213.7gps verified.

I assume that's not the real 0-60 time? My 964 used to manage that! wink
Lol Dave, it runs 0-300kph (186mph) is approx 18-19 seconds and 60-100 in 2.6 seconds. The car is so brutal that you don't need to floor it off the line and still hit a top speed as in the image above. We haven't done a lot of in gear acceleration figures because we were just running the car in for the first time at Brunters. Engine only has about 1000 miles on her and we only put boost through her the night before.

great stuff guys. what do you think it will do the mile in when it's all setup, and 60-130?
We really didn't do any specifics other than running from around 60mph to top speed. I would imagine the 60-130 hook up will be in the 5,?? second range since we were running low 6 seconds at Brunters without testing for it and she is over 200gps in a mile for sure.

I can tell you one stat though - 200mph gps to 210mph gps took just 4.8 seconds yikes

Insurance is a little different in NL where its registered. I insure all my toy bikes and cars in a pool deal, so I get some discount. The 9e Porsche is insured at "valuation" 125k Euros and cost me annually 2.1k Euros. Not bad in my mind and certainly the best deal I can get over here. As long as the car has been APK'ed (NL version of MOT) and is road legal, the performance doesn't affect insurance premium. I decided to limit the valuation to 125k Euros since I think I can do a copy paste of the project, should it go smash up or get stolen. The biggest headache would be the waiting time while we source and produce parts, its a serious effort building that car, not much of the original car is left.

I can't recommend 9e highly enough, those chaps are true petrol heads and seriously good at building quick Porsches. A few weeks ago I tried one of their smaller packages 9e32, trust me even that one is scary quick when sitting in the passenger seat.
I am surprised that you can get insurance for the full value including the modifications. I can only get insurance for the lower second hand value of the car.
In the UK you can get insurance for our packages through a couple of places that will do an agreed value which is (Donor Car + Total Value of Upgrade - less labour). So for example if the Donor was 25k, Package £25k of which £5k was labour, then the agreed value is £45k. They (broker) receive full disclosed list of all components plus estimate of hp.

An example on say a 9E25 kit insurance is around 1k for 40 year old, garaged, Full no claims.

Got quite a few customers on this scheme. It was one of the first things we arranged when we started to offer our packages. It is not the same as say doing a stage 1 tuning. Then your insurance company is only going to penalise you.

I'll have to come down to brunters and meet you guys.
Guess what I forget to take...yep the go-pro. However we did do a few iphone videos which I am processing but they are not to the same standard.

At Vmax we will set up dash display videos etc.

Sounds like you had a hassle free deal Ed, GT2 was a cracking motor and another one to chalk up and add to the list...you must nearly have had a full set now. Good to know that you can get the Crimp Jnr's in the back mate...all the Mac Ds and sweet wrappers in there'll keep you busy.

Catch up soon fella.

Piece of piss Andy to be honest, 911v very easy to deal with
Only one missing is the 993 Turbo, they're just over priced and under achieving IMO. Only other Pork to tempt me Andy would be another impractical GT, in 997 GT3 Guise (Love them)
Still contemplating whether to leave standard or fettle it. Its a lot quicker than the last 6T i had, and it was commented on via 911V how quick it was. Must be the new Turbo's Ken put on. wink
Trust me just standard turbos but like I said the majority of turbos are not optimised as standard.
