997 turbo gen1 v gen2 and manual v pdk?which is the one?

i am little bored with all this how much is my car going to be worth next year in a trade in and all the boring 981/991 stuff around at the moment even the 996/7 melt down has been done to death so i thought i would start something else.i dont know if this one has been done before and have no present interest in purchasing a turbo but wondered how the new turbo faired against the old turbo ie different engine dfi vs mezger?also is the manual a nicer/more involved drive than the dfi pdk/mezger tip.
which one would you choose if owned both?discuss!
the follow on from this would be if the new gt3 is dfi is it better than a mezger gt3!
