Does anyone know the car? Went to see it yesterday and I'm no expert buy any means but it had bits of dust in paint on the inner door frames. The roof looked like it had been painted and some filler showing through the paint. Was informed it was an original panel car. I'm not precious as cars are built to be used but would be nice to know a bit more about the car. RSJ sold it 5 years ago for £59,995

the cars had paint and they were very up front about it. The point where the roof looks painted and drivers inner door frame has paint dust you start wondering if its had a large impact. There's only 23 cars in the country so quite difficult to find. I agree at £90k it needs to be perfect

Also rather than taking the piss out of the dealer can you comment on the car if you know it. They have some genuinely stunning metal in there. Fezza 250 for £1.3m and Fezza Daytona. 10k Mile 964 RS to die for. Some very very special cars in stock

The last good one in speed yellow was actually sold by mr911 to a Swiss collector and the car is around Geneva. If you are interested, I guess you could contact him, I'm sure he knows whether or not it is for sale or not.

Its not that car - this one has def been on and off for sale for well over a year. What surprises is me that you'd think the car was fine as OPC Byfleet had the same car for sale 6 months ago

i struggle with Arena but it does suit the the 993 as it was the launch colour for the turbo. Looks mint to be fair

Stuart, I heard from a very good source the other day that your father lost this car to HWM. It seems HWM have fine print in their SOR paperwork which under certain conditions allows them to take ownership? Case went to court and HWM won.

Can we pls not slag HWM off and just leave this as useful thread/info if considering SOR with HWM?

I don't believe judgements are available online hence the question to the old owners son. Contract in favour of HWM so the court will always come down on the side of the paperwork but do feel very sorry indeed for the old boy - I actually spoke to him when this thread started and would have happily bought the car and had the repair work its already had carried out again properly - allegedly she was damaged on a test drive with HWM. To have a car like that in your old age inveigled from you by sharp practice is a very bitter pill to swallow,

Agreed. If anyone wants a repainted 993 turbo S in yellow HWM want £300k [lol] . Never been painted and no accidents!
