Gen 1 gt3 997

Hi guys, just put a deposit down on a gt3 997 gen 1. I noticed there was no Bose symbol on the door speaker as in my 997 cab. Was this an option? I thought Bose was standard on the 997?

Thanks for the replies guys, now I have a question I almost daren't ask.

The car I have a deposit on is at keighley sports and prestige, I've heard some bad things about this dealer in the past but both the car and the dealer seem spot on. Got a good part ex on my c2 cab and the car look immaculate.

Does anyone know anything about this motor? Think it was sporting the reg C12UTT by it's last owner?

Wow, scary reading sum of those links.

Thing is some of them are from 2007! . I've run a check on the car and says it's not a write off or any thing flagged up. Even spoken to fearnsport about it where it's had some things fitted, they knew the car and previous owner and said in there opinion it was sound :-)

Also the dealer has informed me that I actually gave him £200 to much on the deposit, I checked my cash and he was right! That doesn't sound like a dishonest John to me?

Of course Im as giddy as a puppy Jack russel at getting a gt3 so my judgement could be clouded

Hi all

I'm really getting cold feet about this purchase guys
The man who looks after my cab is on holiday all this week so I carnt get him to go and inspect the car!
I've done the usual HPI checks and it's not flagged anything up but all the bad comments about the dealer has got me doubting the car

Hey slick, your story ties exactly with what was said to me on Friday when I travelled down with the deposit. You mentioned Porsche Leeds were going to inspect it for you, I was wondering how much that was going to cost and who you was dealing with? ( if that's not to much to ask a fellow gt3 searcher)
