In the PH classifieds, If the £119K 997 Classic Sport is a rarity, I wonder why it's still for sale after I think 2 months when other (allbeit lower mileage) similar ones are £149K?

Lovely car, stunning in so many ways

The reality is that the mkt for limited edtion 911s of the "cosmetic" variety verus those of the racing /performance is very limited (especially used)

The ones being marketed at £140k+ appear to have zero /delivery miles, but little suggestion they are selling either ???

I thought (for about 10 mins) about buying it, but for me it felt like a very unsafe place to keep my money, unlike a GT3 or even a std 911 that pretty much has spot values in the mkt, I feared if I needed to sell (one day) the discount could be huge.

Very special car.....but perhaps only for the brave or the very wealthy
Agreed. At 408 BHP and the design touches, I admit that it's a highly desirable and special 997 and worth some level of premium, but not the 50K premium. Or maybe I'm missing something here.
