In relation to a previous thread started in here regarding a Fashion Grey 991 C2S Coupe recently spotted in OPC Glasgow I thought it would be more relevant to start a new thread on the general topic to see what examples people have managed to order. I have manged to acquire a number of pictures for recent Colour to Sample cars in OPC Glasgow.

I do hope this thread is popular with you all and I hope it is a success. Please feel free to upload any examples of an official colour to sample Porsche you may have seen (not any wraps please!!).

I will start with the Fashion Grey 991 C2S Coupe that has already been pictured at OPC Glasgow. Enjoy!!

My Boxster is a L998 paint code, the actual code being 355 which is BMW Estoril Blue. That cost its first owner £3500 for the privilege!

nice to see some examples. It would be good for everyone to upload special colour images, it's amazing what is out there!

My favourite colours are ruby stone, Porsche green (viper) and maritime blue.

BUT! It depends on the car. It's not an exact science and highly subjective but I know what I like!

I think the 991 looks great in bright colours but the 981 looks naff. I can't explain why though!
I agree, it really depends on the car. I also think that the correct wheels can either make or break it!

I've got to say that Porsche Green (Viper) is also a long time favourite of mine. I've heard recently that 997.1 GT3RS in Viper Green are now fethcing stronger monies than Black with Orange or Orange with Black!!

How much does it add to the delivery time?
I believe that the order time for these colours is around 4-6 months depending on the colour and model of car.

My X50 was a PTS viola metallic.

It actually looks black in the pics I have, so won't bother posting one.

Also a big fan of most PTS colours.

Any chance of a group shot with the Green, Orange, Riv and Etna boxsters together? it will be an internet first if you did.

The only time I have seen the three together was on the 987 Gen2 launch, if you add the fourth car that would be a the first time they have been snapped together.
Thanks for your request. As much as i would really love to picture all the cars together unfortunately it is not possible. Sorry.

This is my favourite example so far!

Aparantly it belongs to the factory Exclusive Department to show what can be done by them. It is Riviera Blue with Riviera seat inlays, black mirrors, black bonnet (obviously!), black spoiler, black side air intakes, black wheels with Riviera Blue rims.. To get this kind of example though you will need to write them a blank cheque!!!

Not sure of the name..car was originally a works car is owned by a mate of mine. The colour is
iredescent and changes with the light.
Give the chassis number to the local OPC and they will be able to give the colour name providing it left the factory in that colour.

I have a green RS.1, but interestingly, that colour is not actually Viper Green which was never standard on the RS.

There was a PTS 4.0 in officially Viper Green..see below for comparison

My car in the normal green for the RS.1]

a 4.0 in true Viper Green

I think I prefer the "Porsche Green" as per your RS.1!! If the other colour is actually Viper Green i think it looks a little more vintage!
