I can't believe they salted the track!!!

Still can't believe that -doubt my Cup has ever seen salt!!

In Spa last March we did convoy runs behind a pace car weaving across the track to clear the light snow..... the 3" the next day remained though and we retired to the bar!!

Timely Steve! I'm just in conversation with MSV and Cancer Research UK. Former say yes to passenger fees to charity, and latter say will supply buckets/posters etc.

Why Cancer Research?

Some of you may know/remember one of the main organisers for years at this event was Tim Newman. He has been and is extremely ill at the moment and it seemed only fitting to help out research into this terrible illness.

I, like many others, have lost friends and family to the big 'C' -only last week a friends' wife rang me to say he had passed away after a five year fight -he was forty eight and a successful session and show musician going places....

Please give generously on the day. All money collected will be forwarded to Cancer Research UK in Windsor.

So far we have raised £750 in charity rides -thanx to those that were willing to give up passenger seats. And I haven't counted the dosh in the buckets yet!

And BTW, two of those 964RS's were 964's and four were Carrera Cup cars... ;-)

Great day out, on the whole excellent driving standards. Same time next year?

And another 126 quid in the buckets bringing total to give to Cancer research of £876.00.
