Just seen the Facebook page and noticed someone mention Elon Musk & Tesla.
It got me thinking - if I were in PR at one of Porsche's competitors (e.g. Aston Martin, Jaguar, Mercedes etc) I'd be wanting to make a PR coup by making a big song & dance about offering to swap his 911 for one of their cars (with a higher list price). Compared to UK tv ads costing what, £50k for 30 seconds primetime on ITV1/Ch4? It sound like very cheap marketing to me, and robs Porsche of any opportunity to turn it around.
