Buying a Porsche Private - OPC Warranty Transfer
Discussion
HI All,
I have seen a 2008 porsche for sale which the owner I suspect purchased from a porsche dealership. He is saying he has had it approx 6 months and still has 18 months warranty left on it from porsche.
I just wanted to confirm there would be no issues having this transfered to me. Secondly would I need to OR should I get a OPC check done on the car? Lastly is there anything else I need to watch out for regarding this or anything else.
Is there anyway to get a full spec sheet of the car - or is it a case of getting the VIN from the owner and calling up porsche to get a build sheet.
Its a Cayenne I am looking at.
Thanks

Thanks for the advise guys - do you think I should get a overall vehicle check done on the car. I would usually have 100% done this but seen as its came from a porsche dealer only 6 months ago - still has 18 months warranty left and is actually going for a service now and OPC I feel its probably totally pointless.
What do you guys think?
