Dark Interior needs lightening

OK...

So interior of my 996 turbo is bloody dark ... think it needs lightening up a little.

Was thinking of having the seat backs and transmission tunnel painted to match the exterior.

Has anyone had this done, whats it look like - and how much did it cost?

Think it would make no end of difference internally, though might see if i can buy the parts off ebay and then swap them over so can go back to OEM if need be.

Thats exactly my point... brightens up the interior no end.

Someone on another forum has mentioned maybe wrapping the seat backs rather than painting so it can just be removed in future.
