Most sought-after non-RS GT3

If you fast forward 10 or 20 years, which non-RS GT3 will be seen as "THE ONE"???

By then, a boggo C2S will probably be faster so it will come down to feel, sound, looks, sense of occasion... that "je ne sais quoi" which makes it special.

My guess is it will be between the 996 MK1 and the 997 Gen2: The mk1 being the original, hand built, no driver aids etc and the Gen 2 being the final iteration of the Mezger, last of the manual....

If I had to pick one I'd say the MK1, in Zanzibar or SY and clubsport spec.

What do you reckon?

THE ONE is maybe a little strong... asked another way, of the 996 and 997 (ie the Mezger engined cars) which will be more sought after in the fullness of time? The original 996 or the more accomplished 997?
