Anyone got any thoughts on this car? It's up for £59k which seems steep, but then the classic Porsche market these days seems mad, plus there aren't any others for sale! The aero kit was factory-fitted, though I think I prefer the split spoiler look. There is a gap in the service history from 2004 to 2009 and 15k miles, though it seems the mileage was done and then it went into storage for 5 years.

Appreciate any comments/advice.

I have read a couple of things about them, but they are the only ones with C2s's in! Is it really bad news?

Try google but most HWM threads are removed or stopped due to the website name and shame policy, ie you cannot publicly criticise an advertiser by name, that should confirm your google search
Hi Adam tks for post have done some google searches and seen some reviews not good!

I'm possibly looking into so kind of back date looking car maybe but aircooled obviously .

Maybe HWM aren't renounced for this
Ok I'm worried now. I did leave a £5k deposit on friday for the car (subject to various conditions) and have since been trying to get it back. What's the best way of doing this? I've emailed them so as to put it in writing and they have replied to that email therefore they have acknowledged it's receipt implicitly. Trading standards?

Sorry for the lack of replies, I went down on Friday prepared to buy the car but it wasn't prepped as agreed - front splitter had been bumped and so had cracks on both sides, rear middle lens was cracked, headlining was discoloured at the zip and was supposed to be changed and there were some small dimple dents in the bonnet.

After 3 hours of messing around I eventually got a refund of my deposit through their card machine, which I assume is as good as mine again as they can't hold it or cancel it once it's gone through can it?

So back on the look out for a nice 993 Carrera S if anyone has one that they're thinking of selling!

Well done, it took me three months to get my dipper back !

Dont give up though, I soon found another better car for a lot less money. Sorry not for sale.
Thanks, it was a 3 hour struggle with them, and the money hasn't hit my account yet!

Alvin you've got to show a pic of yours now!

Be wary of shaming them though, apparently they threatened PH with court action and are chasing an individual for defamation?
