991 GT3 Scotland Spring Run

Putting together a list of potential interest in a Spring run through the Highlands, the format will be a weekend tour starting in the central belt.
The outline is as follows :
(1) A / B Roads - some of the most scenic routes around - Approx 200 - 300 miles
(2) Overnight locations and route will be shared to those committing to run
Taking in Scotland's best roads with a coffee stop on day 1 overnight with dinner and limited drinks (our new drink drive laws up here scupper any heavy libations the next day!), day 2 breakfast, run up to a most scenic location for lunch and then on through spectacular roads and scenery to the next overnight and dinner. The final day heads back along the same format of roads and home (or onward) !
While this is mainly aimed at 991 GT3 owners we will welcome other runners.
More details, dates etc, will be shared when we get a confirmed set of runners. This is not a commercial venture so please bear this in mind when signing up as all runners will have the responsibility for their own arrangements.

Not at all - 996 turbo isn't outclassed at all - I had one and they are amazing and will not be out of place at all Actually, I'm feeling a bit outclassed myself as the only non GT car. Fantastic potential here folks. As I indicated at the start of thread and has since been highlighted by others we will be firming up details "off forum", to do this please PM me so I can send a distribution email with the dates and outline of run. Some basics on this :
(1) Any information shared on specifics (dates / routes etc) are not for forum distribution - well not till we post run pictures !
(2) Reminder that this is not a commercial venture and all runners will be responsible for their arrangements (SWMBO is doing the logistics for us all ! but not paying the bills)
(3) First update via email (remember to PM us) will share the dates and outline of the run - when we have confirmed numbers we will sharing the details
With such a lot of interest we will be looking for potential volunteers to help in some of the organisation. More on that on the email threads !

You will be absolutely fine on Cups - plenty of us up here have them on our cars, the only thing we can't fix is the weather ! or are we all into slip sliding...???

We have had larger group runs up here, what you find is that the numbers drop when dates and such like are understood - on the run itself we split it down into managable groups - what is sure (a) folks will get lost (b) it will be an interesting traffic jam on some of the roads !! *** UPDATE ***

We are asking that anyone on the list who has not yet received an email or has yet to PM us that they do so in the next 48hrs as we looking to lock down the confirmed attendance and get folks organised with accommodation ! If we have not emailed you and you have PM'd then sorry - please PM again ! We have 37 emails out ! so not everyone has emailed in yet !
If we don't receive a request by next Wednesday to add we may not be able to get accommodation for you.
As a reminder we are not a commercial venture and all bookings are completed by yourself direct to the accommodation venues.

If there are any other missing that are interested in the run let us know via PM. As it stands it is going to be hard for accommodation for the Saturday night as we have had an excellent take up, there are options left and we will share these off-forum.
