I realise this is an odd question but our black Labrador is very much mine at weekends. With the rear seats folded flat, would it be feasible for my dog to lay down in the rear of a 997?

So the answer is as follows:
991 - no; with the rear seats folded the rear shelf is too pronounced
997 - yes; with the rear seats folder the rear shelf, while still having a lip, is not as bad and the dog bed would fit
Panamera - yes; just have to lift the dog into the boot as the opening is to high

and surprisingly having wondered into a Jaguar dealer this morning, the XKR is perfect especially when there isn't a spare wheel

but how is a dog worth the Jag's depreciation...............

to be continued

So I found a white 997GTS which contrasts nicely with a black lab
