Would a 996/7 GT3 live with the 991 GT3 on track?
Discussion
It's clear the 991 is quicker at the traffic lights due to PDK and Launch Control, but on the track is there really anything in it?? Does the old Mezger GT3's keep on the bumper of the tech-laden 991GT3? I can't imagine - due to gearing, power-to-weight etc, that once moving the 996/7 would be far behind, if any?
Good vid of a 991 GT3, 997 RS and a 991 GTS. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qeq7pqJaaWM

I think that shows that a 991 GTS could well be all the car you ever need and in a few years of depreciation could be the bargain car of the range.
Good car is the 991GTS. That one had -20mm suspension. Slightly down on power-to-weight, and no RWS, but nevertheless a very capable middle of the range 911. Gassing Station | Porsche General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
