Best iPod interface for Porsche and map updates

Hi,

I picked up my 2006 Cayman S yesterday. I'm loving the car so far.

It has the PCM 2.1 with Bose but as far as I can see it doesn't have an iPod or aux input. It does have two CD slots in the glovebox. Can I add an iPod input to this? If so, which model is generally regarded as the best?

Secondly, I'm quite impressed by the sat nav, but the maps are 9 years old now! My road isn't even on there! Can I buy updated maps? What would I pay for this? Is it a DVD?

All of the others I've used before (mobridge/dension) fool the PCM into thinking the interface is a CDC and require much button pressing (or at least my ones did!)

Ok. The system I had in my BMW and my girlfriends Golf displayed all the song info on both screens and I was able to change songs with the steering wheel controls. I think is rather it did that.
