south wales porsche meet / drive 1st one tonight 1830

afternoon all
been trying to organise a south wales Porsche meet and thought I'd post up the details here too
so far all that's been agreed is we'd try and sort out a meet / drive every last Wednesday of the month
this is the 1st attempt at that today so fair only a handful of cars but its a start

tonight we are meeting at the storey arms carpark in Brecon beacons on the a470 and going for a drive around the beacons

I'm sorry its a bit last minute but is anyone interested?

well it wasn't easy but made it happen only a few of us though but even got a representive from the air cooled generation
great bunch of guys was a pleasure meeting you and hopefully this will grow and maybe we'll have more in the coming months! and possibly a curry night if there is interest
and I did like that road well picked :thumb:

lads we are all Porsche fans / fanatics I'd love to have more cars and more variety of porsches there and quite frankly don't care about the politics of the forums

yes it was only 3 cars but hopefully we'll get more next time

Don't forget about the pistonheads meet at crosshands on the last sunday of every month, great meeting with loads of differing cars and owners (look in the south wales forum for more details).

tonights drive has been postponed a week till Wednesday the 2nd as the majority were on their holidays this week
so hopefully a few more can make it next week

and for your info it was nearly 6 last time (2 couldn't make it but will next time)and we all enjoyed the drive and the scenery so that's all that counts

hes a member on the 911uk forum (he's attending the next one too) its a lovely motor with some nice tweaks I'm quite tempted by one of those carbon ducktail lids myself

yep still on guys slightly different meeting place as this time we are meeting at the small car park at the beacons reservoir at the junction of a470 and the a4059 at 6;30(only just down the road from storey arms)
I don't know the route myself but one of the guys coming does and the plan is to do the the Bwlch route.

hope to see as many of you guys there as possible ;-)

well even though everyones favourite person lord of the manor couldn't make it we had a good turn out tonight and a great route too!
although as its getting a little colder now I think we need to make the meeting place somewhere where we can all get a brew ;-) or atleast get one on route
