Chatsworth House Porsche Pageant July 5th

Hi there I noticed that there's a Porsche event on at Chatsworth House in north Derbyshire on July the 5th - I think it's the 12th one they've had there - does anyone know if it's any good / what's on show ? Cheers

Apparently so, according to Porsche Club GB - spoke to them yesterday. Agree , on line there is no presence of the event - I guess this was why I did the original post as I wondered if it was any good. I think I'll pop and have a nosey

Crimp , looks like you could learn a thing or too from rich888 : informative , detailed , an angle to help "sell" the event to the family and photos : It looks like you "CAN say fairer than that" !

I go every year and seem to recall entering the concours with my Supersport many moons ago.
The buffoons at PCGB marked it down because it had Black number plates on it when it was clearly in the top 3!!
That aside nice little event, watch out for the sheep sh*t everywhere.
Not sure if I'm attending this year though as I'm out on the lash the night before so could get messy

Thanks , it's a lovely thing that I've recently had restored inside and out - I was feeling great about it until I noticed that she dropped a wheel cap on the drive down - bit embarrassing - I guess it's the equivalent of putting on your best suit for the queens garden party and wandering around all day with your flies undone !

The car is an RS (ish) , however it is 100% accurate inside and out and also has a genuine RS 2.7 MFI engine and as such is quite special to drive , if not 100% , the real deal

However, the Porsche event at Chatsworth last Sunday was once again a fantastic day out for all the family, with plenty of Porsche cars to drool over and owners to chat to, and I even managed to take a few photos on the day despite being dragged round the rather impressive gardens later on in the afternoon by the wife and kids.

So to anyone that's never attended this regional Porsche event at Chatsworth House in Derbyshire, here are a few photographs. I will probably upload a few more pics onto my Flickr account in the next few weeks, but this should give you a good taste of the event which is well worth attending, because it has so much on offer for not only Porsche owners and enthusiasts, but also the wife and the kids who may well not be that interested in car stuff.

Ok next year - I promise I'm quite harmless
