Good afternoon all.

As we are now up to 269 pages on a prospective owners thread, I thought there might be merit is starting a thread for people to be enthaustic about their imminent new toy.

I am more than confident we have done to death 'my Spyders is lighter than yours' & 'my Cayman R is better set up than yours'. So a fresh breath of enthauism might actually focus on the new entry level GT product from Porsche.

So.... Moving swiftly on, after months of establishing a relationship with an OPC I have been fortunate enought to get my order confirmed for Nov delivery - Guards red, LWB's red stitching and a few other extras to make it work as an almost every day car. Top of my budget, but I can't wait......

Next?

What did that entail? Would I be comfortable doing the same or does it involve weird things? wink

LOI, numerous phone calls & emails, put your money where your mouth is when the opportunity presents itself!

October/November looks to be a busy month. Good to see that PCM is not a must have for all. I was 50/50, but looking around at older GT models technology as we know advances so quickly.

Back to OPC next week to discuss finance and GAP. Have had a few finance quotes from various finance providers, but it will be interesting to see how strong a residual Porsche put on the car. Anyone had any quotes? GAP - I see ALA offer RTI and replacement vehicle options - recommendations?

Cheers

That's just over 20 so far. Did anyone every find out how many were UK bound in total?

Does the car come with Porsche tracker as STD? Insurance quotes start at £350, but want track ins too...

Cheers

My rolling off the production line has slipped form 1 Oct to 19 Oct - LWB's in short supply.

Waiting game.....
