Hi everyone, had my 997 Turbo Gen2 PDK for a few months now and absolutely love it. I bought the car without a Porsche warranty and having owned it for more than 3 months now I can have the inspection done by Porsche and have a warranty for approx. £2-2.5K (need a genuine Porsche battery fitted).

I've had no problems with the car so far and the only thing I think the car lacks is the exhaust noise. Should I fit an aftermarket exhaust, if so then I'll more than likely get the modifying bug and want a remap. What sort of power can be achieved? Will this screw the gearbox/engine up?

If anyone has any previous experience with this would be good to hear opinions.

Thanks,
Andrew

Look as though I'll probably extend the warranty then as its my daily driver and I was hoping to upgrade it to a 991 Turbo S in a couple of years time and if you can't remove trace of the map then it will almost certainly cause problems come trade in/sale.
