All done, homeward bound - 55 miles later, tucked up with 996 RS, early days for impressions but certainly feels like a lovely roadcar.

Why did you remove the seats?
You have to in order to fit the harnesses. The harness comes in a box from the factory, as does the fire extinguisher

My dealer has so far 6 confirmed deliveries, mine was their first, another in the workshop ready to go. One in Nov, Dec, Jan and March - no promises of any additional slots and they aren't especially optimistic. They had 11 991 GT3s....

Ah, so you can have the roll cage and race seats without the harnesses, without needing to remove them, even on the drivers side?
Club sport option gets u cage, extinguisher and drivers harness - only the cage is fitted during build. Others delivered in a box, for the dealer to fit if so instructed. I don't believe the harnesses require a cage, but of course whether Porsche will sell one without the other, I couldn't say.

Congrats Seawise on a stunning looking car.DBM was my original clear favourite on configurater esp with yellow calipers, switched to guards red after my salesman said dark blue not a good colour on GT Porsches. After seeing your photos wish i never asked salesman for an opinion on a purely personal subjective matter! How are you finding the PCCB's as my GT4 arriving next month has them.
Snap, I swapped to Guards red when I got cold feet over the initial order of blue, then I switched back when my girlfriend couldn't understand why I don't order what I wanted. It's a 'marmite' choice I accept, but I like it's understated classy look. Also pal of mine is getting GR and couldn't steal his moment, as GR also looks mega I think. I have very similar dark metallic blue on my daily driver C63 AMG wagon and I really like it.

Too early to say on PCCB, but the black PEC car had them and they felt great, and I have had PCCB on GT3s in the past with no issues (and they were extensively tracked).

I'm assuming the dealer will fit the harness upon request prior to delivery at no cost?

No charge of course, no charge for adjusting ARB either. Service from Bruce at OPC Mid Sussex flawless as ever.

thanks for posting. indeed thanks for everyone who has posted photos of their GT4's, which was the point of this thread after all (rather than discussing spec's, the pros and cons of PCCB's, trading insults, etc, etc).

All detailed and back with the OPC for collection on Friday. A big thanks to Justin at Exclusive Car Detailing for doing such a great job at short notice and on what turned out to be some pretty shocking paintwork.

Should be nice for the summer with Gtechniq crystal serum topped with Exo and wheels finished with C5 plus all glass treated & the inside protected as well.

Only two more sleeps to a weekend of fun!! ??
lovely, spitting image of mine (although mine was never that clean) - fab car.
