Fourdot number plates

I have been given a voucher for a set of number plates from fourdot. For those who don't know what these are, see https://www.fourdotdesignerplates.co.uk. They are plates available in the smallest uk legal size, or in shapes to,fit the recess on the rear of specific cars (think Rover 75). On these large shaped plates the actual yellow reflective part is quite small and the shaped border can be had in various colours or designs.
They are not cheap, £145 for the shaped plates.
These are not the sort of thing I would normally put on my car, a black 996 carrera, but as I have a voucher I have been looking at them.
Does anyone here have a set and can comment on them? I am tending towards a shaped rear plate with a plain black surround.

Can you send me any pictures? Why work well on the front?

I have seen your car on their website, fantastic car. I agree your front plate works well, I will be choosing the same (maybe without the martini stripe).

How does the black surround on the rear match the car, is it "invisible" or does it look obviously different to the paint?

There is the same issue with the tow hook on a 996.
