Man places deposit on GT3, Porsche dealer sells car to another customer behind him in the queue. Man sues for breach of contract and wins.

I know of an OPC that currently has 16 deposits for GT4s. They received 11 cars from the first batch. They don't know when, or if, another batch will be released. They have been 100% transparent about all of this. I don't see how any part of this could be considered in any way fraudulent or underhand. The fact of the matter is that you have to show solid intent to buy if you want to be taken seriously and potentially be allocated a car from the next batch. Those who put their money where their mouth is are going to be first in the line should the next batch appear. The deposit is refundable at any time upto to the point of finalising the spec of your allotted allocation, should you get one.

Cant see the problem myself. Indeed, Ive put a deposit down. Its a slim chance that Ill get a car as I'm way down the list but Id have no chance had I not put some money down.
