I'm thinking of changing my Range Rover 4.4 Vogue and was initially going to upgrade to a slightly newer model and go for a TDV8, which to be fair I'm still quite likely to do, but also thinking maybe to have a change and go for a Cayenne Turbo, and just wanted to know how the 2 cars stack up overall, I know the Cayenne is significantly faster, but I guess fuel economy is broadly similar?, I get about 15-18 normal driving and up to 22-23 on a motorway drive.
Reliability wise are there any weak points on them?, and how much are they to fix?, I know everyone will say they will be much more reliable than an RR, but in fairness all I've had go wrong on mine has been an air suspension compressor which was about £400 and a battery, other than that has just been regular servicing, is the air suspension on the Porsche more reliable or does it have its niggles like the RR system too.
Anyway, would be nice to hear thoughts from owners, particularly people who have driven both!!.

Are the coolant pipes pretty easy to check yourself?.
Also I'm not sure, but am I right in thinking the early Cayennes are pretty good off road too?, I've used the RR a bit and it's been faultless but from the sound of it the Cayenne is almost as good while offering a far more composed drive on the road?.
Other thing I was going to ask is, what is the deal with the Porsche entertainment system of about 2005, do you get Bluetooth and aux connection or is it a case of fitting an aftermarket solution?.
