Porsche / Car transport through Europe?

Not sure if this is the best place to post / ask this so please suggest a better forum if there is one...
Myself and a few buddies are wanting to do some driving in Southern Spain in early October. I will have taken delivery (hopefully) by then of a GT4 and the current thought is to take the 18 hour ferry from Portsmouth to Santander or Bilbao and then drive down through Spain to meet the rest of the group and then do the same in reverse. There are about 6 cars currently considering this option.
However, I wonder if there is company that anybody can recommend who can transport some of the cars down there and maybe back again. I suspect that some of the drivers will stick to the current ferry plan but there may be 3 or 4 of us interested in having the cars transported.
Any suggestions / experience welcome.
