I collected my car back from the garage and they mentioned one of the ignition coils were cracked. When he showed me the black plastic casing had split slightly.

He mentioned the car will eventually misfire but decision to replace them was down to me.

I wasn't sure whether I could keep driving for now and replace them in a couple of months or whether they should be done ASAP.

thoughts? he mentioned new updated coil packs were released which were tougher than the originals.

Would replace all of them or just those which are broken?

They certainly won't get better and will misfire more and more in the wet (as they're sat right behind/beside the rear wheels...).

Change them all for about £140.
I was quoted £40 per coil.

to replace all plus fitting was £390.

I just did them as they were spotted. Can be a few at a time.
Yeah, that's what I was thinking but the Technician said the new coils were updated and worth replacing all together.
