GT3 change.....to what?

Just trying to figure out what I would change my 997.1 GT3 for and I am struggling to think of anything!

To those of you who have lived and loved, what did you change to after selling your GT3?

Did you regret the move and did you ever go back to a GT3?

Current contender is a new 991.2 GT3 with a manual gearbox......but that will involve spending another £50k and I'm not sure it will be worth it!

As a side note, anyone know where I can get a Guards LSD from? I am really struggling to find a supplier

I went from a 97.1 GT3 to an F430 a Scuderia then eventually to a V12 Vantage, never looked back and would never return to a 97.1 GT3, however a 91.2 GT3...tempting, it would have to be really something to get me out of the V12V though as I'm still totally in love with it...

The F430 does seem like a great upgrade. I thought about getting a V12 Vantage but got shouted at by the dealer in the showroom!

99% Road use and euro trips. I have not been bitten by the track bug (thankfully)

I am VERY happy with my GT3 but I fear I am missing out on some great cars......the problem is all the ones I drive feel a bit of a let down after the GT3.

The other thing is I LOVE the rear engine layout and the feeling you get when you lean on the chassis round corners so IF I change it will be to another 911

On the subject of the LSD. I think that the diff upgrade pack that JZM offer for the 997 Gen 1 has a guards diff. That will probably be the route that I take with my 997.

The manual V10 R8 does seem very tempting but my fear is I will regret selling the GT3 for it and the 458 is a great car but it does not have a manual gearbox.

Involvement and feel is what I am looking for not outright speed.

I'm beginning to think I'm going to grow old with this car and I'll have to keep it forever!

You are right Molly but I don't know.....I just feel like I am missing out on some potentially great cars.

Funny thing is whenever I drive the GT3 I think 'fk me! This car is awesome'

Yeah, its no bad thing really. I quite like the idea of keeping it forever and growing old with it.

If I go down the 'keep-it' route then I am 100% certain that at some point in the future it will have the 3.9 Sharkwerks 500HP conversion
