Collected my 911R at the weekend. What an awesome experience! Porsche Centre Colchester went above and beyond to make it a very special day indeed. Loved every second.

Spent the weekend driving it and even did a back to back comparison with the GTS in the early hours of the morning. I'm currently running her in, so I've kept it below 4k revs. However, first impressions are awesome. You can just feel the lack of weight and the energy waiting to be released above 4k. It rides extremely well over British B roads. The other thing that really stands out, is the noise. You can just hear everything. Throttle opening, intakes etc. The gearbox is a joy and the pedals are perfect for accurate heel and toe.

I'll do a full blog review soon.

In the meantime, heres a vid of it in action:

The vid, ahhhh you were doing so well in the coolness stakes - until - I spotted the quick flash of driving gloves LOL. Or maybe you had Allan Partridge take the car for a spin for you? wink
Hahaha. You should see the jumper! I decided to go for the full retro driving experience. Lol.
