997.2 Rear Light Failure

Writing on behalf of my brother, as he doesn't have a clue about forums.
But he has a 997.2, nice car but the rear lights are full of condensation, to a point where when we opened them up, the circuit board in one of them had rust spots. On this light unit, the light doesn't fully function, indicator, reverse and flog light work but no rear light or brakes illuminate.

Is this common on a 997.2 and is it possible to get the light repaired ?

not sure if its warranty but possible to repair the PCB if it is problematic ?

drain/vent holes can then be sorted out before refitting the lights
