Now can this be done. I have been looking in the classifieds on here and see there are a few around the £15,000 mark. Am i going to get a good car for this or do i need to spend more. Other options include the Honda S2000 and Elise. It is going to be a weekend toy used on sunny days. Have a company car for normal use.

Cheers

Well i had a look at the insurance prices this morning just a quick quote on Direct Line and my good....spin
Well got prices for the following:
Boxster 2.5 - £600 (had to have a tracker)
S2000 - £1000

Both Fully Comp 5 years no claims, could not beleive the difference.

Give the Priviledge website a try.
I'm paying £515 a year. Again you have to haave a tracker fitted, but they were the best I found. If you limit the mileage to say 6k (should be fine for a weekend car) you'll probably find it cheaer still.

Bob.

Bob,

That was a 6k limit on the mileage. It was only an to get an idea of prices. The Boxster looks allot more favourable now than it first did. Looking at the finances the £15k budget is going to be the steep side of what i can get my hands on, anyway if the house sells and we move it will totally put on the back burner and the Westie it will be. There seem to be some nice Boxsters around for £11-12K.
