GT3RS questions
Discussion
Hi Guys,
A few questions regarding the 996GT3RS
The alloy wheels appear to have an unlacquered outer rim? is this the case and if so how do you keep the alloy in good condition?
Does the underbody have any underseal/protection from the roads/salt etc?
The exhaust on the car I was looking at is a Porsche exhaust (same tailpipes as my non RS GT3) but it sounded louder on start up, according to an OPC the car was not fitted with PSE as an option, is the standard RS exhaust noticeably louder than a normal Mk2 GT3?
Do you get any problems with sealing on the plastic rear window?
TIA

Dan,
I have a spare set of alloys that have Toyo's on and will use these on track with the RS, so if I am understanding it correctly the outer rim doesn't need anymore attention than a standard 3 wheel. I also Zymol my wheels and use the extra spray stuff that supposedl makes them easier to clean?
Would you recommend undersealing the car? Waxoyl?
