Got myself a nice Porsche Becker cr22 for the 993 & I was hoping there was a plug in & charge lead for an iPod,does anyone know where to get one of there indeed is one available?
& yes it is a cr22 not a cdr22,the cassette version although I'm led to believe it does have the controls for the cd changer
cheers, craig

Loving the car mate!
I take it the kit you're talking about is the one that's specifically sold for the grand prix models?
There seems to a lot of different option on eBay!
I'm not too bothered about being able to use the fascia controls to change tracks/playlislts etc the main issue is that it charges the iPod.
Oh & that it works with my model of course!

Yeah this is one of the ones I was thinking of,unfortunatly it means cluttering up the inside of the car with another power lead which I'm trying to avoid, ideally I'd like to have one that uses the oblong iPod connector that goes in the bottom so it could simply power the iPod every time the ignition is turned on.

Bummer I really thought there would be a power connector that let the cr22 control the iPod & charge it-guess this must be for the later Becker models like the Mexico etc

The solisto is out of stock according to their site.
Shirley there must be a cable that goes into the cd autochanger socket that can charge the iPod?!
Does the auto changer have it's own power supply?

this is still the only thing I can find but I'm just a bit nervous about "splicing" the power supply for the live.

Roofrack my friend, you are in fact, a legend.
Threads on here & 911uk & still nothing came up so thank you very much, I'll be ordering tomorrow.
Might drop them a line with my order as well as I'd tried searching all the usual places & still couldn't find this type of cable-think they may need to add some more keywords to their site!
Many thanks,
craig
