I have a 2007 Cayman 2.7. Which after hearing a hissing noise discovered an oily fluid, similar in colour and consistancy to Fairy washing up liquid dripping from somewhere in front on the rear right hand wheel. All vital fluids seem OK, but I realised today that my air conditioning doesn't work.

So, naturally I presume the two are related. Has anyone had any experience of this failure and how it is fixed?

I have an after-market warranty, so will use this is necessary.

Cheers.

Cheers for the replies, especially the extra hassle of photos, but the leaking and hissing was from in front of the rear tyre, so I presume it must be something different that's broken / damaged.

It's really hard to see where the leaking is coming from, everything seems so tightly packaged in that area.

Two oil seals have gone. Quoted £157.

Miffed with Warranty Direct, they're saying I'm not covered. Waste of money they are....

Hi All - I'm new to this forum, can I ask how much your warranty direct policy cost you. I have just recently bought a 2002 C4S and they quoted my £935 for 12 months!

Keen to go for a warranty but not sure which one to go for... I'm based near Heathrow...

Thanks and sorry to jack the thread!
