Heat Shield-Extractors/Headers

Hello everyone,
I’ve just had the big bonnet resprayed after noticing that the paint had started to ‘craze’ from the heat of the headers. The headers are ceramic coated and I’ve installed some reflective heat shield to the underside of the bonnet. Not wanting to go through the expense again, has anyone designed a metal heat shield or something similar?
I’m also having the whole bonnet protected with some new technology in 3M film and it won’t really like that sort of heat. I've got something in mind but I just wanted to pick your brains a little.
Ideas or thoughts?
