Should having air con be a deal breaker ?

I'm currently looking around for a Tuscan and notice that quite a few don't have air con (only standard on the S), that said some people have told me that it isn't very good any way so I shouldn't worry.

What's the general view on this, is it important (in the back of my mind I'm wanting to make sure wifey is comfortable if I'm going to convince her to partake in a few nice jaunts over the channel in it)?

I agree that it shouldn't be a deal breaker but I'm thinking I'd like to have it idealy ( I don't want to give the wife any excuse for not going on road trips).

On another note, apologies if I didn't reply to people about my posting saying I was looking for a car. The post has been taken down by admin as you can't put want ed ads in, sorry to admin and all who responded, I wasn't trying to abuse the rules.
