I got my Tuscan 4ltr in October 2011. Its now 2 years and 9 months later and I love it more than ever. What I didn't fully appreciate is how much I've spent in that time to get it to where it is.

Retrim
2 x Clutches
Poly bushes fitted
Nitrons Refurbed
Front disks upgraded
Various splashings of CF, from seat backs and front splitter to the ACT AirBox
4.3ltr rebuild by Power
New stereo, Amp & Speakers
Countless consumables (Tyres etc)

Tallied up my reciepts last night for all of this, not including fuel, insurance and oil etc and Ive spent over £24k!

Yep, with the cost of the car and that £24K I could have got myself a Vantage or GTR!
Oh well, best keep these hidden from the domestic banker and continue to enjoy this awesome car.

Anyone else tallied up theirs? Please say I'm not alone!

I've had mine for 14 months and spent a mere £3,200 on it so far....

The biggest single expense was a new clutch shortly after I brought it.

My approach is not the most cost effective one - I do none of the work myself and always ask the garage (str8six every time!) to walk all over it and fix everything they can find. Amazing what little things can be found lurking if you look hard enough, but I'd rather have it right.

Probably not the cheapest approach, but I do seem to have a very reliable car...
Ill sort that for you Bill, next time we have you over at a show! wink
