Deposit Paid.... What next ???
Discussion
Right then, I'm a very exited chap, perhaps more so than someone of my age should be, but hey after quite a search and several not so nice ones viewed the Tuscans bought.
So, as I say what now, can anyone recommend any insurance companies, I've had a quote from Mannings which seems very reasonable ?
Also what is the essential garage equipment needed , trickle charger I guess, any particular make, anything else ?
By the way how the hell do you all put up with the sharp intakes of breath and people saying " why are you getting one of those, they break down all the time"... I'm already fed up with argueing the case.
Any finally, any recommendations for servicing around the Gatwick area ?

Thanks for all your advise so far on this guys.
Insurance sorted, I actually went with Hendersons, it does have track day coverage but not wishing to sound like a girls blouse I'm not planning on tracking it unless it is just the once to get to know the car in a safe environment (bloody hell how boring do I sound)... I'll be buying driving gloves next and getting the tin of barley sugars for the glovebox (now I am showing my age).
Anyway I got the car from "Touch of Classics" in Lowestoft, mice guys and they arranged for the owner to come down and meet me, he's had it 7 years, it's looks amazing in Nuvola Blue/magnolia hide and has been merticulously maintained
I'm getting it delivered on Monday so might bore you with a few photos when it arrives.
Anything else I should get other than the trickle charger ?

Well here we have it, arrived yesterday. A Dec 02 3.6 with 42k, by far the best I viewed and the last owner has had it for 7 years and really looked after it. It comes with a fully detailed history, adjustable Bilsteins, Tuscan S brakes, uprated cooling, new clutch last year, Air Con... And I am a very happy boy.
I haven't seen this colour before, it's Alfa Romeo Nuvola Blue (pearlescent) with magnolia hide and navy blue Lamonta headlining. Also comes with fitted garage cover.
Morning, I think the chassis plate should show you the colour (check bottom right box).
That said I didn't get my colour from there, I have the origional order specification and whilst it's similar to the Crystal Topaz (I viewed a couple), this has more of a gold fleck in it in the sun.
