Time to change clutch ?

I've read of others getting only 20k or so out of theirs but mine is still on its original after 54k (the one prior owner confirmed). Its not showing any sign of slipping although the usual handbrake on test is impossible with the typically useless perpetual MOT advisory TVR design. Gear selection is no worse than I remember on long prior Chimaera with T5. My understanding is they usually go because of snapped fingers rather than out & out wear and I don't particularly want to end up stranded. I don't want to be spending money for the sake of it so how long do you think its worth hanging off ? It only does about 3k pa and I drive it like I own it rather than stole it ......

(except when an RS4 pulls up alongside of course )
