Gents - some advice please.

I plan to have a bit of a tidy up on the chassis over the winter and address a couple of suspension issues. My car is a Mk.1 Tuscan S 2004 build.
- I aim to get my GGPro's serviced and then re-fit with new springs.

- What sort of rates should I ask for? Seem to remember 400 ft/lbs Front and 350 ft/lbs Rear. I've done a search on here, and to be honest, feel that there isn't a definitive answer. My springs look pretty scabby, and Jason mentioned that the N/S rear bump stop had almost collapsed. Is that telling me I need harder rear spring(s)? Are Eibach springs better coated than the Gaz supplied items.

- I've tried contacting Derek on his "AbShocks" mobile number, but it's just going straight to mail. Anyone had dealings with Derek recently?

I've read most of the threads in the search and folks seem to get bogged down in the technicalities - I'd just like a straight forward numerical value ;-).

Thanks for reply. Most of the threads found by the 'search' facility mentioned the (much?) harder spring rates on the Sagaris....and also mentioned pre-load/full droop etc. etc.

I just want a figure that people have experience with - - even if it guides me to increasing the spring rate a tad. IIRC my current springs are 400-F and 350-R.

As mentioned the springs do look shabby now. Are other manufacturers springs better coated, and if so whose?
