I am considering selling my Mk1 2000 car and just had a look now at e bay and on here and there is not much for sale .
I generally sell cars with a good add on e bay classified with some strong pictures and the right price. I have sold all my previous TVR's this way.

Where can I get a good idea of the real market price ?
The range on here is £40k to £20k but only one Mk1 for sale?

Can this be right , I am sure when I looked and bought three years ago there were heaps to choose from.

Thanks in advance for any pointers on how to get a comparison

Thanks for all the posts and the last one here just shows how difficult it is to value. Mine has had the engine rebuild and other work too, brakes, suspension etc however if at £13k the car in the post before this one had no interest, yet the cheapest UK Mk1 on here is £20k ?
I am going to put it up for sale over the next week or so and see what happens.

I will just start at £20k and come down after a month or so and see what interest if any. If it does not sell then I will keep it another year.
My mind was mid way between the £13k and the £20k.

I do think there is a big difference between advertised price and sold price, I have experienced this selling now many other cars over the last 20 years.

Thanks again for all the views.
