Hi everyone. I need to get my wheels refurbished and it goes in tomorrow for the work. My car is metallic black with the standard silver Spider 18" wheels. I have the option of going for Shadow Chrome, which is a darker silver in the outside fading into gloss black inside the recesses and inner rim.

I fancy the change, but I'm not sure if it will be too much on a black car with a black interior - I don't want it to look like a pastiche of fast and furious. Does anyone have any pictures of a dark of black car with this type of wheel colour to give me some idea?

Thanks in advance

J

Thanks Paul and Matthew for taking the time to post some pictures - a pair of fabulous looking cars!

I'm sold - shadow chrome it will be, ready for the first outing at Burghley. I'll post up some before and after pics when it's done.

OK, so here it is before, standard wheels

And after the refurb. They also managed to straighten both back wheels which were not quite round - usual story with Spiders. Really love the way they've done the shadow chrome with almost black inside the recesses fading to much lighter on the face. Hard to see on photos though

Splashed out on some new nuts and a nylon thin-wall socket as well.cool

Good spot, yes it's Wheel Genie. Used them several times and as you say, great service.
