Welcome to the club, hope you love it as much as I do mine. A lot of TVR parts supply has been amalgamated into the new TVR network. They're showing two versions available as recons. Yours should be this one:

http://tvr-parts.com/tvr-parts/part-details/tvr-me...

That said, TVR were notorious for production line variability so your car being a 2001, it may have the earlier version. Part number should be marked on it.

Other suppliers such a Racetech might have one or if you are willing to gamble on a breaker, there is a well known one in the NE that advertises on Flea.

For the horror story it has been but I do love it and race tech know me very well now for all the parts I've purched. When the car turned up it didn't even have the heater ecu so Im trying to find one and any help would be good

Re-reading those TVR Parts entries, they're both on exchange basis although they do quote a "surcharge" which I assume is if you have no core or yours is scrap. Probably best to check other PH'ers with 2001 cars what part number theirs are fitted with then ask TVRGlen what he has. If he has and it works, bingo, if not exchange it through TVR Parts. If you look at the list of Tuscans owned by PH'ers sticky in the Tuscan forum you should be able to seek out 2001 owners and PM them directly if none chips in on this thread.
I brought the car from tvr glen and never want to deal with that man again as he lied j about everything on the whole car and that's why it's been a horror story and pretty much replaced everything on the car. So just need the heater ecu now

You're not the first and won't be the last, not that that offers any comfort. Glad you stuck with it and good luck getting it back to where it should be........ On The Road
Yeah I know and everybody I speak to about him has said total wker and avoid. We'll it's all on the road now and I do love it but it has nearly cost me £20,000 and six months of very hard graft. All I need now is the heater ecu and then I think I've replaced pretty mu everything on the car.

There's a small cluster of us at the top of the M23. A few Tuscans have been seen regularly in Purley too. There's a few SV6s, Chims, Tamora and Tuscans.

The Surrey Meet is round by the A3 / M25 junction. 4th Thursday of the month.
I might have to attend one of them so the 28th of June is the next meet? I have had my Tuscan resprayed in white so if there a white Tuscan spotted in the Gatwick area then it will probably be me

Hi Richard,

I was in a similar position to you, although I have an early 2000 Mk1 - ECU MEL 426. These are like hens teeth so changed the control knob and board to the later one which works with the easier to come-by MEL 489. This I got from Clever Trevor c/o Racing Green at the end of 2013.

I'm also in Sussex, down on the coast in Hove.
Thank you very much for this information and maybe i can pop down and meet you sometime as i dont understand how the main bonnet to service bonnet catch goes together or if somebody has a pic

Hi Richard, I'm having my bonnet converted by Allan on Monday (8th), he's popping down and doing a couple of conversions in the area. You're welcome to see mine so to speak, and it sounds like you're pretty close to me, I'm in Salfords just north of Horley.

With regards to "meets", check out TOSH ( Tuscans over the Surrey Hills) we're not as regular with meet ups but I think one's been discussed for later this month.
Hi yeah id be interested it seeing it and i live in east grinstead so really close could pop over one evening if thats ok
