I have been lurking for a while now and last week decided to take the plunge and put a deposit down on a Tuscan S.

Should be picking it up at some point next week from Tony Gilbert Cars.

Now like a kid counting the days till Christmas smile

Cheers,

I went for the purple one in the end. Tony is a nice bloke and has been great to deal with so far.

Well picked up the car today weell chuffed.

After driving over 300 miles home, the power steering now not working along with the servo assisted brakes seem no longer aiding braking. Really need to stamp on them to stop.

Could the two be linked?

Cheers

Cheers for the reply,

Hopefully the steering is just a fuse or relay. Going to have to investigate the brakes tomorrow.

Anyone had similar issues?

Afternoon all,

All working again, checked the system and rack for leaks all clear and belt still on the pump and still tight.

I gave the car a run and after a few heavy braking runs the brakes are fine, I think the disks must have had something on the surface making it feel like no mater how hard I pushed they weren't going to stop me.

Hi Speed3, you might be right. I was pretty tired when I got home last night and was struggling doing the usual 15 point turn to get into the parking bay.

Most of my journey before was motorway.
