Hi All
I have a late mk1 well sorted Tuscan has done 6000 miles since powers rebuild but I am really tempted to go for the Ls3 conversion.
Any guidance from you out there would be very helpful regarding Running costs, future value etc.

Thanks Guys

Really looking forward to the whole process, will post pics as soon work starts, hope to pop down to Topcats at least once a week. Never heard a bad word about the Ls3 in a TVR always thought it is a great mod.

Fully respect the speed six options, but think this is a no brainer when it comes to a modified engine option.

Nothing to hide mate, but you can do what lots of people do and pick up the phone and make inquiries with the relevant suppliers. phone

20k-25k Depends on extras and what gearbox you want.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your interest Sonic.
My last visit to TC was a week before xmas and this was the progress.
Engine and gearbox are in and bespoke exhaust made and fitted.
Propshaft away for shortening and rebalance also Dash away for re calibration.
Hope to pop down to TC this week for an update but so far all going as planned (touch wood)

Good spot, laugh

yes it is, it's there to get the engine at the right height for final positioning.

Buy your TVR and do whatever you want that makes it fun. That was always their raisin d'être.
Exactly, why worry about the value if like me the car will be a keeper and I will enjoy every minute of ownership. Let's not put these cars in the same pidgeon hole as the housing market where people think more of what there house is worth and not think of it as there home.
