Tuscan Tyres 2016, Toyos v Continental ContiSportContact 5

Hi all,

I need some new tyres for my Red Rose in 225/35/18 and 255/35/18.

I can get the same again in Toyo T1-S, but they are an older design now.

I see the Continental ContiSportContact 5 did well in the latest Autoexpress tyre review, http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/accessories-tyres/918...

They are available in the correct sizes apart from the front 225's are a lower W 168mph speed rating rather than the Y 186mph for the Toyo. This is not a concern as I dont expect to get to those speeds on the weekend blast. The rear 255's are the correct Y speed rating.

Has anyone fitted the Continentals? If so, any feedback? I don't need R888's or R1R's.

BertieMagnus, what size tyres do you have as I cannot find the 5P's in the sizes I want?

I think I will go for the 5's in the sizes I want and just remember not to let my front tyres go over 168mph

Thanks Bertiemagnus, I will be going with the 5's in the sizes I mentioned below, when I get around to ordering them!
